Monument to Frydyrik Chopin, nineteenth-century Romantic composer and one of the great patriots of Polish history. The statue depicts him drawing inspiration from Nature.

Me in our dorm at Nathan's Villa. Despite my bitchy appearance, it was a pleasure to be in such a clean environment after the aptly named Flying Pig.

In summer, Nowy Swiat is undoubtedly Warsaw's liveliest and most colourful street, and represents the city's masterful fusion of the contemporary and the Old World.

To paraphrase the Carlsberg motto: "Probably the best arses in the world."
